Solway Battalion, The Boys' Brigade
The work of The Boys' Brigade in the United Kingdom is structured as follows:
2nd Dumfries Company is grouped with other Companies in the Dumfriesshire area. This group of Companies is called Solway Battalion.
Solway Battalion provides support and assistance to the Company as well as putting on age specific events and
activities for all the Companies to take part in.
The Battalion Events Coordinator is 2nd Dumfries' very own Mr Jim Dillett who
"understands the importance of progression through the ages and the "Demand & Supply Factor" -
supplying the activities and events that are demanded by our Members."
