Big Burns Supper Lantern Parade
Dear Parent/Carer(s)
We are participating in the Homecoming Scotland Parade this Saturday and as you know the Boys have made lanterns which they will display at this event - lanterns to be finished this Friday night. This event is open to all sections however we require Anchor Boys' Parents to accompany their Boy(s).
The arrangements at present are as follows:
We will be distributing a consent form that is required to be signed for the organisers in addition to our standard Boys' Brigade form - Boys are to bring these to the event with them on Saturday.
The lanterns and the subsequent participation in the Parade will count towards Arts & Crafts as well as the Community aspects of our Badge Work structure so we look forward to seeing as many Boys there as possible.
Boys are not required to wear uniform and we would urge that Boys are appropriately dressed for the weather and possible weather conditions.
Any further details will be communicated on Friday night.
Many thanks
Mr Jim Dillett
Officer in Charge
